A blind man with short gray hair sits on a wooden bench in a park under a bright blue sky with scattered clouds. He wears sunglasses, a plaid short-sleeved shirt over a white long-sleeve shirt, beige pants, and black shoes. He holds a white cane with a red tip in his hands, resting it on the ground in front of him, while maintaining a relaxed yet upright posture.

Breaking Barriers in Digital Ministry

Technology keeps evolving and transforming how we share the Gospel. This creates unprecedented opportunities for believers with physical limitations to engage in global evangelism. Through our Echo Evangelism Response platform, anyone with internet access can become an active participant in the Great Commission.

Our ministry includes visually impaired Responders, whose unique perspectives and experiences enrich our outreach. Using advanced assistive technologies, these dedicated believers connect with seekers worldwide, offering authentic testimonies and compassionate support. God has a way of using our unique testimonies to connect with people that have similar struggles. Visually impaired Responders demonstrate this truth powerfully.

John Henry Howard exemplifies this inclusive approach. Since 2020, he has served as a Responder using screen-reading technology to engage with seekers. “Need Him has allowed me to participate in the Great Commission with confidence,” John shares. “The comprehensive resources available ensure I’m always prepared for any conversation.”

This initiative reflects the true spirit of the universal church where every believer, regardless of physical ability, plays a vital role in sharing God’s love. John actively encourages others in the visually impaired community to embrace this opportunity for ministry, demonstrating that technology can bridge gaps and empower all believers to fulfill their calling.

Praise God for the technology that allows us to create a more inclusive model of evangelism that honors the diverse gifts within the Body of Christ while reaching souls across the globe.
