Advance – Winter 2015

God is just getting started!

If you are like me, you have a list of unfinished projects that seem to grow longer as time passes.  One of the many awesome things about God is, that unlike me, He does not lose focus or get pulled into something more “important”.  Philippians 1:6 reminds us that God started a good work in us and will continue his work until Christ returns.  This has never more true for Need Him Global than it has been the past year.  We have seen several changes, but the work of using media to share the Gospel with those least likely to be evangelized and offer them an opportunity to respond continues to be stronger than it has ever been. We give all thanks and praise to God for continuing to lead His ministry.

It is through His leadership that I find myself writing this column.  I first got involved with Need Him Global in 2006 as a donor while working for a private global technology organization.  Two years later, I was asked to serve on the ministry’s Board of Directors.  In 2010, I joined the ministry staff as COO working alongside Drew and last year became CEO when he resigned.  I am humbled and excited as I look forward to seeing how God will lead us in continuing to advance His kingdom through the unique way he has called Need Him Global to share the Good News.

As I get deeper into the responsibility of leading this great ministry, I have come to the realization that we could do a better job of keeping our partners informed of all the different things going on in and through Need Him Global.  So, whether you lift us up in prayer, volunteer your time to talk with the lost, or provide for our efforts financially – we plan to share with you a few times each year the tremendous impact of your support.  I hope you find this first effort not only informative but also inspiring.  Our desire is to not just provide updates, but to also make you think about your own relationship with Jesus Christ and how you are living to demonstrate to others how much they Need Him each day.
